Interest Groups
SOS members have a wide range of interests! If you'd like to participate with other SOS members in one of the activities listed below, please log in to your account (using the "Log In" link at the top of the page), and choose the "Interests" tab to select the activities you're interested in!
If there is a coordinator named below, please email the coordinator directly in addition to updating the "Interests" tab on your member profile.
If you are interested in an activity that's not listed, please email [email protected] and ask to have the activity added to the list! Based on input over the last several months, SOS members have expressed interest in forming additional Interest Groups for: Billiards, Boating, Bus Trips, Camping, Gourmet (Dining Out), Happy Hours, Kayaking, Motorcycles, Movie Night, Theater Trips and Zip-lining. If you are interested in organizing an event for any of these interests or perhaps for an interest not listed, send an email to [email protected]. We will work with you to get your event organized and published."

9 and Dine |
Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at one of the Executive Golf Courses. Space is limited to 28 participants. Each member must register him/herself. The registration process requires your Golf ID number. Tee times are expected to be in the mid-afternoon time frame (3:00 PM or so). The group golfs and then goes to dinner afterward. |

Beach Tennis |
Meets every Tuesday at Seabreeze Rec Center from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. All levels welcome. |

Book Club |
Meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at the home of a Book Club member. The members bring their own beverage. The books selected for each month are published on the SOS website under Events. |

Bus Trips |
The bus trips will be held periodically and will consist of many different activities. Brewery tours, shopping, casino, etc. |

Championship Golf |
Meets every Monday. Priority membership is not required. This is not a serious group. There is organized competition each week but nothing complicated or intimidating. There are guidelines posted on the Events page under the Championship Golf event to further explain the day's activity. |

Dine Out |
A randomly selected group of 6 people or 3 couples break bread together once a month for 3 months. After every three months, the larger Dine Out Group comes together and randomly selects a new group of 6 to 8 people to dine together for the upcoming 3 months. |

Ladies Golf |
Meets every Thursday at one of the Executive Golf Courses. Each member must register herself. The registration process requires your Golf ID number. The group golfs and then goes depending on the tee time, we will meet for lunch afterwards. |

SOS members meet each month for our group social event. Each month is a different event! Look on the SOS website for upcoming dates and fun activities! |

Night Golf |
Space is limited to 54 participants. Each member must register him/herself. The registration process requires your Golf ID number and asks if you are willing to be a Team Captain. Game is played as a shotgun start scramble. All balls will be hit from the green tees. All players must ride. Cost includes pizza. This is a fun event! |

Meets every Friday at the Allamanda Rec Center courts from 3:00 to 4:50 pm. All levels are welcome to join in the fun! |

Texas Hold'em |
Meets the 2nd Sunday of each month at the home of a Texas Hold'em member. The members bring their beverage and a snack. The group has open table play and wraps up the evening with a 1 hour tournament. |

Wine Club |
The wine events will be held in the home(s) of Wine Club members. A theme will be determined ahead of each event. Each household will bring a bottle of wine and a snack/appetizer to share. It will be great to gather as friends to share some wine, food and fun! |
